Capco, a global technology and management consultancy, has inked a partnership agreement with Instanda, the pioneering customer and policy management platform for the insurance industry. The new partnership aims to leverage technology and data to accelerate ongoing digital transformation in insurance further.

Founded in 2004, Instanda being an IT service provider to the insurance industry, is spread over 12 countries that serves over 50 clients. From a start-up to a 100-strong operating company, it operates across all distribution channels and insurance lines, including Aviva, Axa, and Zurich.

Capco has been added into the partner network as a global implementation and consulting partner that joined fellow consulting industry heavyweight Deloitte holding a similar status.

According to Matt Hutchins, Partner and Insurance Lead of Capco, this collaboration took place at a time when insurance companies felt the pressure digitizing their operations more than ever. “The pandemic and its associated impacts have forced insurers to reflect on how their operations might be improved through the acceleration of their digital transformation plans. Streamlining their businesses, reducing cost, and improving customer experience are all key priorities – but other challenges are also coming down the line that will require flexible, cost-effective, and open architectures with integrated data analytics.”

Taking advantage of Instanda’s cloud-based digital insurance platform will allow the two consulting firms to serve their insurance companies and brokers in their life, health and property, and injuries better and unlock the potential for digital transformation, including moving away from legacy IT systems to modern applications. The solution will also boost its offerings aimed at operational efficiency, customer experience, risk and amp; compliance, data analytics, big data, and digital-driven innovation.

Tim Hardcastle, CEO and Founder of Instanda, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Deloitte and Capco. This is a significant milestone that marks the continued expansion of our global network. Through these partnerships, we are able to extend our reach even further and continue to help clients grow their markets, streamline their business, and embrace digital transformation.”
